Ratan Bepary is a small business entrepreneur and the sole bread-winner of his family. His business was going well which allowed him to live a life of dignity. However, life threw at him the greatest curve ball when his vision started to become blurry. With each passing day, his sight got obscure. At one point he no longer could run his business properly as he felt high discomfort due to the lack of clarity in his vision. Needless to say it also impacted his daily life skills. The impact of Ratan’s inability to run his business due to unclear vision was directly proportional to his income. Drastically and immediately, it took a horrendous toll on the livelihood of his family.

This anguish continued for him but suddenly the light of luck seemed to shine on him. Prime Bank Eye Hospital conducted a free eye camp in Dohar, where he lived. The 65 year old was informed about the free eye check up. Upon visiting, he was diagnosed with cataracts. What worried Ratan Bepary was that he was already going through the hurdle of running his family with minimal income and he could not afford to do the surgery. However, when informed about our surgery costs, Ratan Bepary and his family calculated that it was within their pockets to undergo the surgery. Thus, he underwent the surgery that retrieved his clear vision.
