Dr. Anthony Albert graduated from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, Barisal. After his graduation from medical college, he joined DG Health Services Government of Bangladesh, as Medical Officer. Then he joined Bogura Christian Hospital as a Medical Officer and Hospital Director. Dr. Anthony obtained a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) in 1994 from the National Institute of Ophthalmology. He also completed his MCPS in Ophthalmology from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons and M.Sc. in Community Health from University College, London.
In 1995, he obtained Intraocular Microsurgery Course from Aravind Eye Hospital and Post-Graduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Chennai, India. Also, he received training in Laser in Diabetic Retinopathy Management from the very same institute. He received training on Management Priorities in Eye-care Delivery from Lions Aravind Institute of Community Ophthalmology (LAICO), Chennai, India.
He joined Prime Bank Eye Hospital in February 2012 as a Consultant Ophthalmologist, now he is serving the patient with the capacity of Senior Consultant at Prime Bank Eye Hospital.
Dr. Anthony specializes in the fields of Manual and Phaco Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Surgery, Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy, Eyelid Reconstruction Surgery, Oculoplastic Surgery, and Laser Treatment for Diabetic Retinopathy.
Dr. Anthony was born on 30th January 1956 in Barishal. He was an ex-cadet from Jhenidah Cadet College
